Delete your account and data
Future & Fortune accounts are created and managed by your employer. There are two ways to have your data removed.
Ask your employer's HR administrator
This is the fastest route and it is usually the right one. Your employer controls your employment record, so their administrator can deactivate your login and delete your record directly from the dashboard, normally the same day.
Or send us a request
Email info@futureandfortune.in from the email address on your account, with the subject "Data deletion request", and include your full name and your employer's name. We verify that the request came from the account holder before acting on it.
We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete them within 30 days. Because your employer is the controller of your employment record, we notify them of your request and action it together with them.
What is deleted
- Your login account and password credentials.
- Your profile, including your profile photograph.
- Check-in and check-out verification photographs.
- Location history and recorded shift routes.
- Your device's push notification registration.
- Tasks, feed posts and appreciations attributed to you.
What may be retained, and why
Some records cannot be deleted on request because your employer is legally required to keep them. These are retained by your employer for the period their local employment and tax law demands, and are then deleted.
- Attendance and worked-hours records that support wages already paid.
- Payroll and payslip records, and payment history.
- Leave records where they affect settled pay or statutory entitlement.
- Security and audit logs, kept for a limited period to investigate misuse.
Where a record must be retained, we remove the parts that are not required for that purpose — for example the verification photograph and the location trail attached to a shift can be deleted while the hours worked remain.
Stopping location collection without deleting anything
If your concern is location rather than your account, you do not need to delete anything. Revoke the location permission in your device settings, or simply check out — the app only records location during an open shift, and the server rejects any location sent outside one. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
